Fished Eagle for 2 full days. Water temp 47, air temp at sunrise 26 and heavy fog both mornings which made float tubing interesting! Lake is at lowest level since the 1940's.
Between my buddy and myself we landed over 25 fish with lots of 19 inch + and a few fat 3 pounders. None of the usual 4-5 pounders that Eagle has to offer but we had a great trip and came home with some fillets that were smoked the next day.

Gene, fog did lend another element to float tubing Eagle. The first day we launched near the airport and the fog dropped on us 10 minutes after we launched and if my buddy got more then 15 feet away I lost him completely. The 2nd day we launched at the youth camp, on the other side of the lake, in the fog which didn't burn off until almost 11AM. It was eerie and yet somehow peaceful and added to the enjoyment on my first Eagle Lake trip.

Sounds like a great time, I love fishing in the fog.  It makes for a very calming day of fishing.
