Our first major sweep of the Rio Americano Islands and Peninsulas is scheduled for Saturday, August 29th.  We should meet at Rio Americano High School's parking lot at 8:00 am.

Plan on working until around noon time.  Lunch and water will be provided.

Bring long sleeves, long pants, and rubber hip boots if you have them.  Shoes that can get wet/muddy are preferable, as we may have to get in the water to reach some areas.

I've attached a map of the area. Please let me know if you will be able to participate, so I have a head count for lunch.

We've ended up with about 12 volunteers for tomorrow's Red Sesbania removal.

Bring your camping chairs so you have somewhere to sit for lunch!
